My favorite is the mouse pad!! also my guess is July 23rd 2009 and it was taken in the morning^^

  2. TurningOtaku

Let's see if it works now, July 23rd 2009 in the morning (I hope) and I changed my mind on the favorite, it's the haruhi closeup :D

  3. shibuya246

My favorite is the K-ON bookmark (shiori) set

  4. shibuya246

thanks. looks like the problem with comments is fixed for the moment. thanks for pointing it out :)

  5. Irit

My guess is also July 23rd, 2009, in the morning. My favorite prize is the mousepad of 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya', since the central girl actually reminds me of myself. OK, so my hair and eyes aren't brown (red and green, in that order), I'm not a schoolgirl (anymore), and I'm certainly not animated (at least not in THAT way), but I do get excited. A lot.

  6. Irit

Changing my answer to same date, July 23rd, but in the afternoon.

  7. Renechong

July 22nd 2009 as for the time..I'm guessing late morning! my favorite prize is the Rilakkuma reminder note pad. I don't mind living a busy life if I have Rilakkuma to remind me what to do~

  8. sorvani

July 23, 2009 in the middle of the afternoon. The 15:56 train in fact. It was definitely the pokemon train. I would love the Rilakkuma note pads for my daughter. She's 18 months now and we are just giving her crayons. I would love to be able to mail her scribbles to her Grandparent's in Saitama on these papers.

  9. applel0ve

July 22nd, 2009 late in the afternoon. I would love the magnetic Rilakkuma and the Rilakkuma memo pads because I'm addicted to Rilakkuma :D & my collection is always welcoming new kuma additions. Thanks for doing this giveaway!

  10. sorvani

the sneaky part of this one is simply what "time stamp" to believe from either this site or the flikr photostream. I did not see a date in any of the photo's to help. So it is all time stamps. The fun of the international dateline. I went with the 23rd because of the "photo taken on" date of the flikr photo's in conjuntion with the uploaded date being the 22nd. that only makes sense when you assume the flikr server timestamps is in the US but the photo time stamp comes from the picture's data (or user's input) when uploaded. The first photo on the flikr set was the departure board showing the Akita train on platform 21 departing at 15:56. The last photo in the set was the contest photo. oh and if guess for a second prize choice it would be the rilakkuma character.

  11. TurningOtaku

Since everyone is sherlock holmes when it comes to timestamps I'm going to try and give the best answer as to why I think I should win at least something. 1. Haruhi and K-ON were the first two animes I ever watched in Japanese. 2. I live in Australia, do you know how hard it is to come buy that sort of merchandise, compared to Europe and America!? 3. Despite already known as an absolute Japanese nerd at school I would still use any or all of that merchandise proudly. 4. I'll be your best friend forever?^^

  12. Chlose

Probably to late for this but... July 23 cuz everyone is saying... And i dont wana do time conversions(i live like, at least 15 hrs in time away from there...) around noonish... Because of the late entry, ill go for the extra prizes as well! 1. The K-On! Merchandise! Why? Because its K-On! the very first anime that dragged me into listening to the OP and ED every single ep! I usually skip if there's the option, but Cagayake Girls! and Don't Say Lazy! just blew my pants off!!!(ok not really...) And as everyone knows, K-On! is awesomeness!!! 2. The Haruhi folders. Why? They look beautiful, and probably one of the most beautiful file folders ill ever see(and hopefully use^^). It also shines a new light onto both of the characters. Yuki looks just amazing with that beautiful red dress and violin. And if you haven't watched Haruhi, you would be wondering "Who is this character? She looks amazing!" The Haruhi one also enchants me. I don't believe Haruhi would be a great conductor(imagine all the yells and faces and curses coming out of her mouth unless its exactly what she wants*shivers*) from my musical experiences... But its just beautiful. And at the moment i saw it, it immediately reminded me of Shinra from They Are My Nobel Masters. I never once in my anime life(a 4-5 years) thought that a mere school girl(even if it is Haruhi) would remind me of such a splendid beauty from another great anime! 3. 愛してる!!!!! Lol ill be popping on the site more often if i win something!*wink wink* I mean umm... Ill show up here every day from now on o.o

  13. shibuya246

now those are 4 top reasons to win the second prize. like it ;) more of this as well

  14. shibuya246

ok, now im getting confused what time i took the photo ;) With so much interest, I am adding an extra K-ON mousepad for the second prize as well, and .......... make a comment about what other merchandise you want to win and the next giveaway will try and feature that item.

  15. TurningOtaku

plus, number 5. I'll be able to fit in with stuff like this when I go to Japan? I mean every cool guy has a haruhi folder or a cute notepad? right? right!!?!?

  16. NekoLover

  17. Renechong

  18. TurningOtaku

some otaku-tensils (otaku utensils^^) I'd specifically like a good marker for kanji and stuff :D

  19. whipcracker

As 1 of your Faithful Followers, now for some time I always find your articles facinating and the photos top notch:))). I would certainly enjoy another mouse pad or any Rilakkuma product available. Or anything that is available, all the prizes here deserve a shout out a great selection. As for the next prize giveaway, those train station lights w/sound would be a great prize:) or anything associated with them would be great.:)

  20. shibuya246

trains, railways? great idea :) At some time I am going to have to send a Rilakkuma your way. You have the most comments on the site ;) This is your home.

  21. whipcracker

  22. Irit

  23. Nick

  24. shibuya246

some good answers coming in here. I am enjoying reading between the lines of what people want. definitely need to think out some extra goods for next round of giveaways.

  25. Neksus

July 22nd '09 - afternoon (around 16.00 - 4 p.m.). That hour is dead as it could be where I live. If I ever win I'll say later what I want. As I never win I don't write too much :) Thanks for the giveaway!

  26. Neksus

Ok, I need to say what I want so I'll go for the mouse pads. And Rilakkuma! - I don't have any particular reason, but a mouse pad is something you look a lot during the day and I had really lots of fun with Haruhi and K on animes. A reminder of good times is just good enough to get you going on rainy days. Everything counts! I have a Beijing 2008 plush to tease :) Rilakkuma as a friend :) - Plus I was crazy on Haruhi Suzumiya and wanted to buy the books too but no luck. My japanese is not at that level yet. - Where I live they cost a lot because they just have something japanese on, bomb price :( After all it's just what makes you happy... There it is.

  27. Neksus

Sorry, I thought K On was a mouse pad ^^' Gomenne But it's good either way LOL

  28. HELLOSHEENA

The 22nd @ 15:00. I want the Rikakuma snacks. lol

  29. Renechong

I want the Rilakkuma Halloween snacks because I've been really busy with assignments this semester. My semester break officially starts after Friday and I wanna have some fun with Rilakkuma! 今日もみんなでダラダラゴロン~ おきにいりと一緒の毎日

  30. shibuya246

    ;)

  31. shibuya246

You'll have all the fun if you eat the snacks ;)

  32. whipcracker

Even though my desk is small and cluttered, I WILL make a special place for the Rilakkuma note pads and the Snacks, nom, nom, nom. Also a new mouse pad would help, the 1 I am using is getting a little worn out. Those would really make it a special shrine to the #1 Bear Rilakkuma! :) These would really make home feel much more of a Japanese home! :).

  33. Renechong

Haha Korilakkuma will be in danger if Rilakkuma doesn't get his snacks huh?

  34. aivee.C

my reason for wanting the Rilakkuma snacks being: my rilakkuma is hungry and he would be one happy bear if he gets to munch on some rilakkuma snacks!

  35. Irit

Please tell us who won - I, for one, am extremely curious! :-)

  36. shibuya246

Got snowed under with products. Will be posting today on who won. Sorry for delay
