I wonder if these guys were getting paid extra to be out on the roof?

It was actually hard to get a clear photograph of the building. Too close and nothing fitted into the view finder. The other side of the road still appeared close but also brought the traffic into view.

Everyone trying to snap a picture before the building is knocked down to make way for an office tower.

So many people have been to see Kabuki at this famous location, it will feel strange to them to see a new building take its place.

From this angle you can see more of the building, but the tree on the right is really blocking my view.

Nice some to see so many people in traditional Japanese clothing in this area. There were many kimono to be viewed.

It seemed every man and his dog was out taking photos of Kabukiza today. Well, actually I dont think this is a dog. It is the official mascot for the Gunma-ken tourist board.

It's such a beautiful building. Kinda sad that it's gonna be demolished to build something else.

It's sad to learn that the Kabukiza Theatre will be demolished ! I'm glad I managed to get pictures of it last year. And it was indeed impossible to fit the whole building into the viewfinder ! :)
