This is my image of Seiji. A leafy suburb with trees overhanging the clean narrow roads. This area of town is peaceful and laid back but very well organized
Leefy scenery in front of the station. Siejo Ishii on the rightLooks like a public bath tower in the distance?Seijo Ishii supermarketOne of the well appointed shotengai in Seijo. Look at the street lightsChance to pick up some good wines hereSmall well appointed shops in the streets near the stationMany of the shops have a nice well organized charm about themLots of greenery in this area of town. This florist can hardly compete with the natural green setting of the townThe train lines looked more like a highway here. The train enters a tunnel type structure before arriving at the stationThe Sengawa river runs through part of SeijoThe Sengawa River looking back towards the railway lineRelaxing walkways either side of the riverTrees seem to come from everywhere even though the streets are quite narrowLots of larger sized houses here with lots of greenery in the gardensA very nice looking cafe with delicious cakesThis Church building fits right in and adds lots of character to the areaTime to get on the busApartments, houses and treesSidestreets with characterLocal museum just down the roadOne of the main streets leading away from the station. Drop in to your friendly KFC on the wayA few stores in front of the station areaA nice traditional restaurant near the stationIt wouldn't be a perfect town without a Mister DountsA couple of land and building opportunities to be had in the local areaSeijogakuenmae station buildingDrop in to pick up some tasty breadPolice box outside the stationA good international flavor at this supermarketOdakyu Line at Seijogakuenmae StationThis newly built station design at Seijo reminded me of a mini version of Kyoto StationTime to stop in and pick up some chocolates from GodivaWaiting for a taxi at Seijogakuenmae Station

Is normal to have a building with different kind of shops and listed outside like that?
Azriel
My eyes!!! So much color >o<!

yes, this is quote a normal thing. There are often big signboards showing the different tenants in the building like this. :) I'll try and grab some more photos of these type of boards next time.

So glad to see that you're back in action after a while! Damn those hackers! But boy, you sure are going all over the place lately; I have some catching up to do!! hahaha :-) Will be heading back to Tokyo this November for a two week stay, but I think I`ll dedicate a few days to seeing these kind of spots that you're showing us that are "off the radar" so to speak; Shibuya246.com proving to bet every damn Gaijin info center there is! This looks like a very peaceful neighborhood, a lovely stroll in the afternoon.

ah brings back good memories of the area. I'd love if you took a trip over to my old neighborhood of chitosefunabashi and snapped a few pics.

I was living in Tokyo, Sejogakuen Mae from 1983 to 1989. It hace changed a lot. But I liked the pictures with the Sengawa River. This pictures show the way to my home.
But on google earth I could see the building do not exist any more. f.juergen@yahoo.de
