Walking up the main entrance taking in the peaceful greenery, you get the sense that this is a special placeBuildings appear through the lush green foliageNice combination of stonework with natures colors aroundMap of the temple groundsA little bit of Autum colorThe temple is built on the hillside so there are stairs and gardens everywhere. It makes for a very nice settingInteresting shaped structureThis room was huge. I think it was 400 tatatmi mats in sizeWalking through corridorsThe ceiling of this room was very detailedLooking back down one of the stairways within the templeThe buildings are connected with stair corridors allowing you to walk around the entire complex undercoverIts a long walk up hereNot sure what this object was representingThe scenery outside of the windows is quite sereneMagnificent workmanshipTime for some quiet reflectionThe buildings blend into their surrounds nicelyGardens and buildings both well maintainedThe wood on the floor was very smooth under foot. You walk around of course with no shoes hereOne of the temple buildingsTemple groundsNo shortage of stairs to exercise onLots of history hereBack on the stairsLooking towards the main temple building up the hillSome guards watching over the groundsThe covered structure on the left is one of the inner staircases. Going up the stairs reminded of a scene from an animeSo much greenery on the groundsGentle stream running down past the temple

I asked for directions from where I live, (Texas), and the computer told me to kayak across the Pacific until I reach Japan. Now, I kayak occasionally, but... I think that'd be a little hard on the arms, don't you think?
